LIONSGATE, a studio that I truly respect, has slated GHOSTS to haunt cinemas on January 10, 2014. GHOSTS is the new working title for this new horror film (the first one was JESSABELLE) that wants to get under your skin.
Kevin Greuter, the guy who did SAW 6 and SAW 7, directs the dilio and stars Sarah Snook, Mark Webber, and Joelle Carter. The movie was written by Robert Ben Garant and here’s the official story: “After losing her fiancé in a horrific accident, Jessabelle is forced to recuperate at her father’s ruined Louisiana mansion, where she discovers a strange gift from her long-dead mother, and a terrifying presence determined to destroy her.”
The movie comes from Blumhouse Productions the producers of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, INSIDIOUS and its upcoming sequel boringly titled INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2.
Blumhouse Productions is one of the best horror studios out there. They even did a haunted horror house last Halloween in Los Angeles called BLUMHOUSE OF HORRORS. Lovely.
