A good while back, we showed you the first images and a trailer for the slightly bizarre, yet intriguing Norwegian film called THALE. Now, a batch of new stills and a promo artwork have been released for all you anthropomorphic animal aficionados to enjoy. Check out the artwork on the right (it’s pretty much a palette swap of the earlier poster, pictured below) and the images below.

Thale is a feature film based on a mythical character in Norwegian folklore called ‘HULDRA’. According to the myth a hulder is a beautiful lady living deep in the woods, and it is said that she seduces men that work or hunt in the woods. She hums a beautiful song and lures them to her deep in the woods, and they never return to their village. You can recognize a hulder by her cow tail.

Directed by Aleksander Nordaas, THALE stars Silje Reinåmo, Erlend Nervold, Jon Sigve Skard and Morten Andresen.
