Media Blasters will release THE UH-OH! SHOW on DVD on August 30 under its Shriek Show banner. The film marks cult filmmaker Herschell Gordon Lewis’ first time in the director’s chair since 2002’s BLOOD FEAST 2 and his first time writing a script since the ’70s.

The cover art for the gory flick is pictured to the right. Special features on the disc include a commentary by Lewis, a commentary by the producers, a commentary by the cast and a behind-the-scenes featurette.

The cast includes Nevada Caldwell, Brooke McCarter (THE LOST BOYS), Jack Amos (100 TEARS), Krista Grotte (below), Joel D. Wynkoop, Kenny Rogers, Bruce Blauer, Jarrett Ricker and a cameo by Troma head honcho Lloyd Kaufman.

Jill Burton is a sexy reporter who’s dead set on getting the scoop behind The Uh-Oh! Show – the gory TV sensation that’s sweeping the nation. Get the answer right and win piles of dough, get it wrong and – Uh-Oh! – it’s off with your arms, legs, or more!

But, fans are thristy for more gore! So, Fred Finagler, the show’s mastermind, feeds their depraved craving by launching The Uh-Oh! Show, an even bloodier reality show spectacular – Filled with Big Bad Wolf attacks, Hansel and Gretel-style torture massacres, and mauling mutilations from the Three Bears and a gore-crazed Goldilocks. It’s just the type of prime-time violence Fred needs to keep the ratings high.

But Jill’s investigative intuition tells her something is deadly wrong on this wheel of misfortune. And, it’s not long before she discovers the grisly, gruesome, gory truth of what reality happens to the shows’ unlucky contestants.
