Amar’e Stoudemire (above) is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the New York Knicks. In addition to being the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2003 and a six-time NBA All-Star, he also dabbles in fashion design and acting. His next venture ma be producing.

The New York Post reports that Stoudemire is such a fan of THE STRANGERS that he is in discussions with Relatively Media’s Ryan Kavanaugh to executive produce its sequel. Despite the original being a big success, the follow-up has been on the back burner. Stoudemire’s involvement might light the fire that gets it going.

The sequel is written by Bryan Bertino (who penned the original) and directed by Laurent Briet. Liv Tyler (below) is rumored to return, and Paul Hodge is reportedly attached as well. The plot follows the three mysterious figures as they stalk a family of four that is forced to live in an abandoned trailer after being evicted from their home.
