It was announced at Cannes that American World Pictures has purchased the worldwide rights to SPORES from StudioLine Entertainment founder Greg Strasburg. Check out some early teaser art to the right.
SPORES revolves around a remote pharmaceutical lab where an infected test subject violently murders research scientists working on the vaccine for a lethal spore-born virus; those infected transform into psychotic killing machines.
Strasburg is producing the sci-fi thriller with Jason Dudek writing and directing. The film is set to begin principal photography in June as the first of three genre pictures produced by StudioLine.
