Hidden in a story about Steven Spielberg, Variety revealed that Michael Green is writing an adaptation of Stephen King’s UNDER THE DOME. The novel will be turned into a television mini-series by Spielberg and Dreamworks TV. Dreamworks optioned the writes to the book back when it was published in late 2009.
Green’s credits include the new GREEN LATERN film, Oren Peli’s upcoming “THE RIVER” series and episodes of “SMALLVILLE,” “HEROES” and “EVERWOOD.” Do you think he has what it takes to tackle King next? The story concerns a town in Maine that is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field.
