There’s really no telling, had SAW 3D remained in its original October 22nd release window, whether or not PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 would have been so successful. I tend to think the two films would’ve come closer to splitting the difference, culling about $20 million each, yet as it stands…P.A. 2 cashed $41.5 million in receipts, setting the all time opening record for a supernatural horror film. More pressure on SAW 3D to perform this weekend? We’ll see. In the meantime, peep some new trap-and-torture stills from the flick below!
