It’s been a while since I’ve given you all an update on some genre collectibles so follow along with me today as I bring you a few things that may be of interest to you.
First up we’ve got a brand new bobble-head to add to your collection sitting on your desk. Don’t lie… You know they’re there. Or I’m willing to bet you’ve got at least one bobblehead right? Of course you do. The things rock! And today I’m here to tell you about a headknocker that depicts one of our favorite horror icons: A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET’s Freddy Krueger!
-One, two, Freddy’s coming for you…
-The Dream Master returns, as a frightful bobble head!
-Based on the original Freddy – Robert Englund!
After over 20 years of terrorizing the teenagers of Elm Street, Freddy Krueger is still as iconic than ever! Based on the original incarnation of the character – portrayed with a perfect mix of horror and comedy by Robert Englund – this Nightmare on Elm Street Freddy Krueger Bobble Head stands approximately 6-inches tall, and includes a base. Order yours today!
This bad dude comes from Funko and is surprisingly taking on the likeness of Robert Englund rather than the new film’s star Jakie Earle Haley. I say surprisingly but this translation is very much welcomed! Don’t get me wrong… I think Earle Haley is awesome… But Robert Englund IS Freddy Krueger, no matter which way you play it. Now you can get a glimpse of that beautiful bastard above from Entertainment Earth. Just click through to pre-order ol’ Freddy for a reasonable price tag of $13. Freddy ships in April 2010.

Next up we’ve got the latest addition to THE DEAD series of figures, which I’ve told you about HERE and HERE. Now THE DEAD really have a knack for bringing us twisted zombie figures with blood and guts hanging all over the place but dare I say they’ve outdone themselves with this newest addition?
‘The Undying Carcass’ is the latest to join THE DEAD and from the images above and below it’s no secret this dude is pretty f*cked up. Here are some details from Sideshow Collectibles:
Sideshow Collectibles proudly presents the Undying Carcass Premium Format figure from Sideshow Originals’ The Dead collection. Each piece is individually painted and finished to exacting standards, each with its own unique quality and detail that is the trademark of a handcrafted Sideshow Collectibles product. Escaped from an overrun hospital, the Undying Carcass Premium Format figure is the very picture of the approaching end, an outstanding addition to any display.
‘The Undying Carcass’ is 16.5” H x 11.5″ W x 9.5″ D and weighs 12 pounds. Here’s that beautiful bastard’s backstory: Some call it a virus, others a genetic experiment gone awry. Whatever it is, the hospitals and triage clinics were overtaken weeks ago. Infected have escaped the makeshift quarantine barricades in droves, and survivor strongholds are beginning to falter as desperation sets in. The end is near…Be Ready.
According to Sideshow’s website ‘The Undying Carcass’ was put up for pre-orders yesterday at 10 AM PT and already the figure is sold out! Could this thing have sold out in less than a day or maybe Sideshow are just running a little late? Either way you can be placed on a waiting list for ‘The Undying Carcass’ right over HERE. He catches a hefty price tag of $285 and will be shipping in the third quarter of this year.

And the final update I’ve got for you all today involves Megan Fox’s bust. Actually it’s a bust of Megan Fox’s bust. What? You want to buy this thing right now? But I haven’t even given you the details… Let’s just breath and take a minute.
Alright. You good? Good. You see Comics Alliance got a look at two new busts from Jimmy Hayward’s JONAH HEX. We’ve got Josh Brolin as the titular character ready to blow some fools away alongside Megan Fox as ‘Leila the prostitute,’ also ready to blow some fools away, perhaps after luring said fools in using her magnificent breasts. What a way to go…
No real details on the busts are given considering the things have just been announced but we should be hearing something soon. Like perhaps at today’s New York Toy Fair? The duo of JONAH HEX busts are coming from DC Direct and you can check larger pictures out over at Comics Alliance.
That’s all we’ve got for today so allow me to leave you all with this picture of Megan Fox. Enjoy.
