Survival update

A while back we reported on an indy film called
SURVIVAL, in which a group of friends searching the
forest for another group of lost friends, and encounter a demented family who
use physical and psychological torture methods to bring their victims to the
very edge of sanity, then release them back into the forest with only two
instincts intact: killing and survival
. Well now we finally have an
update on the status of the flick thanks to writer/director Joe Francis.

Francis has told us that the editing process has
now begun as well as the score creation. Which means that sooner than later
we’ll be able to finally see this neat little film.

Also on a very cool note, Francis has told us
about a prequel comic book that he has created for the film. The 15 page book is
illustrated by Ray Frenden
and will be ready for the Texas Frightmare Convention.

Francis has been great with keeping fans in touch
with what’s going on with the film, and the addition of the comic book is really
cool. To find out more about SURVIVAL, especially with what has gone
wrong behind the scenes, check out Francis’ MySpace page
