The two latest names joining “AMERICAN HORROR STORY” are Frances Conroy (right, “SIX FEET UNDER”) and Alexandra Breckenridge (below, SHE’S THE MAN). The catch is that they have been cast in the same role. Deadline reports that Conroy will play a housekeeper, while Breckenridge will play a younger version of the character.

The pair joins the cast that already includes Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton, Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga and Denis O’Hare. The show is being overseen by “GLEE” and “NIP/TUCK” creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. Now that this season of “GLEE” is complete, production on the pilot – written and directed by Murphy – will start for FX soon.

THe pilot revolves around husband and wife Ben and Vivien Harmon, who move with their kids into a creepy San Francisco home next door to Constance and her daughter with Down Syndrome who knows more about the house than everyone realizes.
