Andy Samberg’s most dangerous foe is glass in the new Storks trailer

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Storks deliver babies…or at least they used to. Now they deliver packages for global internet giant Cornerstore.com. Junior (Andy Samberg), the company’s top delivery stork, is about to be promoted when he accidentally activates the Baby Making Machine, producing an adorable and wholly unauthorized baby girl. Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble before the boss gets wise, Junior and his friend Tulip (Katie Crown), the only human on Stork Mountain, race to make their first-ever baby drop – in a wild and revealing journey that could make more than one family whole and restore the storks’ true mission in the world.

The general consensus is that this movie seems to be cute and safe, and I’m inclined to agree. I’m way too conscious of animated films trying to stuff in “cutesy” moments (looking at you, wolves) but this doesn’t look like it would be a terrible time at the movies if you had to bring your kids. Fortunately for me, I don’t have kids so I’ll just be sitting over here with my bourbon and judgments.

STORKS opens in theaters on September 23, 2016.
