If you’re a fan of Marvel’s greater cinematic universe, there’s a fair chance that you own several (or even all) of these movies already. And if you don’t yet there’s always the chance that since it has now been revealed just how awesome THE AVENGERS really is, folks everywhere will be wanting to have periodic movie marathons to witness the whole grand story in a single epic shot. It happens often enough with STAR WARS and LORD OF THE RINGS, and I’m sure that OFFICIAL MARVEL MOVIES will soon follow suit.

And so to the point: Amazon is teasing a ten-disc, six movie set that comes packaged in a what is both a very snazzy and very familiar-looking case:

The Avengers 10 disc set

“Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One – Avengers Assembled” will contain:

• Marvel’s The Avengers (Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray)
• Captain America: The First Avenger (Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray)
• Thor (Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray)
• Iron Man 2 (Blu-ray)
• The Incredible Hulk (Blu-ray)
• Iron Man (Blu-ray)
• Bonus Disc – “The Phase One Archives” (Blu-ray)
• Collectible packaging with exclusive memorabilia from the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Expect the specifics of what is hiding under that SHIELD cloth to be revealed later on in the summer.  So is this something you’d consider picking up?
