Avengers: Endgame adds post-credits sequence

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

As of this weekend, Marvel's AVENGERS: ENDGAME has a brand new post credits sequence.

That's right, if you somehow happen to not be one of the billions of people who went and saw ENDGAME when it came out on April 26th, or if you just want to see the movie as many times as possible before it leaves theaters, you can go watch Joe and Anthony Russo's latest now and give yourself something to stick around for after the end credits.

However, there's a good chance you've already seen the post-credits scene. As it turns out, the Russo brothers have placed the trailer for SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME in place of the typical post credits sequence. See, the thing is, if you haven't seen AVENGERS: ENDGAME yet, then the trailer for SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME is going to be bursting with spoilers for you. After all, if you haven't watched the gang go up against Thanos for the very last time, then you have no idea what happens to our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, right? So if that's the case, how is the MCU going to show its fans what they have lined up for this summer at the movies?

The answer? Just put the trailer for SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME at the tail end of the final credits for AVENGERS: ENDGAME. See, this way, nobody has to suffer any spoilers. Once you get done watching the Avengers fight for the galaxy, just stick around to see what's in store next for Marvel Studios! This way, everybody's a winner.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME is in theaters now. SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME swings into theaters on July 2nd, 2019.
