Is Captain America a virgin? She-Hulk will answer the question courtesy of Kevin Feige

For some reason, fans have become obsessed over one answered question in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — Is Captain America a virgin? It seems that we might get an answer to that question in the upcoming She-Hulk series courtesy of Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

We’ve seen that Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) has had a few thoughts regarding Steve Rogers’ virginity, even grilling her cousin Bruce (Mark Ruffalo) as to what he knows. While speaking with Variety, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law head-writer Jessica Gao commented on how the popular fan theory made its way into the series.

We just started putting it in scripts. There used to be a season-long runner where the thing that is constantly gnawing away at Jen is this question of whether or not Steve Rogers had ever had sex. You just regularly see her like googling it, talking about it. You got the sense that she was just constantly pestering people in her life, this question that was burning away at her soul. I can’t describe to you how thrilled and shocked I was that not only was Kevin on board with answering the question, that he supplied me with the canon answer.

When asked if Kevin Feige had a definite answer in regard to whether or not Captain America is a virgin, Jessica Gao said, “Yes, that is straight from Kevin’s golden mouth.” The She-Hulk writer told Yahoo’s Kevin Polowy that Steve Rogers’ virginity was a frequent topic in the writer’s room. “I mean, it would just be such a shame that one of the greatest men ever, with that hot ass, could go to his grave having never felt the loving embrace of a woman.“

In addition to Tatiana Maslany, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law also stars Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry. A few Marvel favourites will also be showing up, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. The series will follow “Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.” She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will debut on Disney+ on August 18th.
