As promised yesterday, a full teaser has been released for Marvel’s Netflix series Daredevil starring Boardwalk Empire actor Charlie Cox as “The Man Without Fear.” Besides showing off Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil, the teaser also provides us with glimpses at Vincent D’Onofrio as the villainous Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Elden Henson as Murdock’s friend and law partner Foggy Nelson, Scott Glenn as Murdock’s mentor Stick and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page.
“I’m just trying to make my city a better place.”
It appears Daredevil is going to be one dark and gritty series, especially compared to the Marvel movies. Not that I’m bitching, of course. I am getting a slight Gotham vibe from the teaser, and although it’s a decent show, I’m hopeful Daredevil will be better than the FOX series. As a huge Daredevil fan, I can not wait to binge watch Marvel and Netflix’s new show in a couple of months, and it’ll be interesting to see how it will connect to the MCU and its characters. What are your thoughts on this first full teaser for the upcoming series?
