Chucky season 2 promo spends four minutes behind the scenes with Jennifer Tilly

Chucky season 2 will reaching Syfy and USA Network airwaves on October 5th – and to help build the hype, a promo video hosted by cast member Jennifer Tilly has been released online! You can check it out in the embed above. For over four minutes, Tilly takes the viewer on a tour of her palatial estate, a home she says she bought from James Bond’s nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

A follow-up to all of the Child’s Play movies (remake excluded), Chucky picks up where Cult of Chucky left off. Don Mancini, who has written every film in the franchise (except that remake) and directed a few of them, developed Chucky with producer David Kirschner. Mancini and Kirschner are executive producing Chucky with Harley Peyton, Alex Hedlund, and Nick Antosca. Mancini also directed the first episode. The show’s synopsis:

After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies and allies from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.

Chucky, which aired on the NBCUniveral cable networks Syfy and USA, reached 11.6 million viewers across all platforms during the first season.

Tilly plays serial killer Tiffany Valentine (now inhabiting the body of actress Jennifer Tilly) and is joined in the cast by Zackary Arthur (as Jake Wheeler), Alyvia Alyn Lind (as Lexy Cross), Fiona Dourif (as Nica Pierce), Björgvin Arnarson (as Devon Evans), Alex Vincent (as Andy Barclay), Christine Elise (as Kyle), Barbara Alyn Woods (as Mayor Michelle Cross), Lachlan Watson (as Glen/Glenda), and Brad Dourif (providing the voice of Chucky). Chucky season 2 also has Devon Sawa in its cast, despite the fact that the twin brothers he played in season 1 were both killed. Sawa has said that it feels like Mancini is going “even f*cking wilder” with season 2. Lara Jean Chorostecki, Tony Nappo, Tilly’s sister Meg Tilly, her Bound co-stars Gina Gershon and Joe Pantoliano, and her best friend Sutton Stracke (known for being one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) are in there as well.
