Attention passengers, TNT has just given a new trailer for their SNOWPIERCER television series the go ahead to make tracks online. Based upon Bong Joon-ho's SNOWPIERCER and the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige, the new show is set seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland. The story centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a gigantic, perpetually-moving train that circles the globe. Carrying a variety of passengers from all walks of life, the train eventually becomes a segmented battleground where class warfare is poised to be redefined and then some.

The TNT series stars Daveed DiggsJennifer Connelly, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Susan Park, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand, and Jaylin Fletcher. Graeme Manson (Orphan Black), who took over as showrunner after Josh Friedman's exit, admitted to reporters during a panel at the Television Critics Association press-tour that "it too a long time to get it right and we got it right." Manson added that very little of the original pilot has survived. "I don’t think there’s any," Manson said. "I think there’s a little piece of a special effects set piece, but it was a full rebirth of the series. When I came on, I pitched a different world."
