It was just yesterday that we brought you guys the awesome news that MTV's upcoming third season reboot of SCREAM: THE TV SERIES was going to bring back the original Ghostface mask from the Wes Craven quadrilogy and today we have confirmation!
The news was confirmed by way of director Dennis Widmyer over on Instagram who posted a picture of SCREAM's classic Ghostface on his monitor saying "Hello, old friend."

SCREAM Season 3 synopsis:
Deion Elliot, a local star running back whose tragic past comes back to haunt him at the worst time, threatening his hard-earned plans for his future — and the lives of his unlikely group of friends.
Brett Matthews (SUPERNATURAL) is SCREAM's new showrunner and will exec producer alongside Queen Latifah, Shakim Conpere, Yaneley Arty, Harvey and Bob Weinstein, Wes Craven, Tony DiSanto, Liz Gateley, Marianne Maddalena and Cathy Konrad.
SCREAM's 6-episode third season is set to return as a three-night event sometime in March 2018.
