Cool Horror Gear: Freddy vs Jason NES game?!

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Apparently, this is legit. Legit as in, this is a game you can actually purchase, but not legit in the sense Nintendo has suddenly lost their marbles and decided to make a FREDDY VS. JASON video game.

Indeed, this is a “hacked” game, created by an enterprising bloke calling himself Pac-N-Sac Dave. (h/t to Bloody Disgusting.) In the game, instead of a camp counselor, you’re now Freddy, roaming the grounds of Camp Crystal lake in your quest to kill Jason. Looks like you still have to contend with plenty of crap that has nothing to do with FRIDAY THE 13th (like random crows), which is certainly keeping in tradition with the original NES game from the late 80s.

Watch a demo below. You can go to ShopFlashbackGames.com if you want to purchase a copy.

Bonus: As you’ll see below, the same fellow created an alternate version: JASON VS. FREDDY.
