Cool Horror Gear: Thermal Vision Predator by NECA

I know Christmas is over, but we felt the need to share this new toy with you guys. NECA has revealed a Thermal Vision Fugitive Predator from Shane Black and Fred Dekker's THE PREDATOR. The figure is a variant of their Ultimate Fugitive Predator, based on poster art used for the film, and is available exclusively at Target, packaged in a collector friendly window box.

The figure is made of translucent blue plastic, with added paint to simulate the thermal vision look and stands a little over 8″ tall with 30 points of articulation. The shoulder mounted cannon is articulated as well. While there are no interchangeable hands, arms or head sculpts included, the figure does sport four removable wrist blades. THE PREDATOR is directed by Black from a script he co-wrote with Dekker and follows this synopsis:

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home. The universe's most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and an evolutionary biologist can prevent the end of the human race.
