Cool Videos: Batman and Wonder Woman watch Thor: Ragnarok trailer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

I think the whole DC vs. Marvel rivalry is pretty dumb. I mean, come on, 99.9% of fans enjoy characters from both companies, even if they may have a preference. But to have such brand loyalty that you can't see the faults in their movies, or to see the greatness in the other's, seems like a waste of time. I know I've given the DCCU the business many, many times on this site, but that's because I love the characters, and have legitimately not liked their last two films (I actually really enjoyed MAN OF STEEL). At the same time, I think the MCU is overrated (like CIVIL WAR was meh to me), but I still think they make solid – to really good – movies, and haven't really made an outright bad one (save maybe THOR: DARK WORLD).

Anyway, this all brings us to this video of Batman (and Wonder Woman) watching the THOR: RAGNAROK trailer. Now, I wrote that preface to reiterate that I'm not some MCU fanboy relishing the destruction of the DCCU or anything, just that I thought this was pretty funny, and thought some of you might think so as well:

Full disclosure: I was pleasantly surprised by the JUSTICE LEAGUE trailer (even if it still had things that bothered me), and while I overall loved the THOR: RAGNAROK trailer, I thought a lot of the CG didn't look great in that gladiator scene, and the big laugh-out-loud moment (Thor's big "YES!" at the sight of Hulk) didn't hit for me for some reason. Though, I honestly just hope both movies are great.

But what about you Schmoes? Which one are you personally most looking forward to? Either way, sound off below!

Meanwhile, THOR: RAGNAROK will slam into theaters November 3rd, 2017, while JUSTICE LEAGUE will hit theaters pretty soon after on November 17th, 2017.
