Most people were emotionally stirred and nostalgic after seeing the return of Han, Chewbacca, Leia’s hands, and Luke’s voice over new sweeping imagery like the crashed Star Destroyer and the new stormtroopers. I also guarantee your reaction was pretty close to Matthew McConaughey‘s.
Okay, so this isn’t actually Matthew McConaughey‘s reaction to the STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS teaser but rather a quite perfect mash-up of a scene from INTERSTELLAR with the new trailer for J.J. Abrams‘ movie. In fact, it almost matches perfectly to how I felt watching the teaser the first time. Even down to the final moment hoping there was more to come.
And remember, this was just the second teaser. There is still a full trailer coming down the line. For that, I think we may need to see what other movie meltdowns may represent our emotional state.
