Earlier this month, we told you about a political thriller Tom Cruise was in discussion to star alongside Denzel Washington titled THE 28TH AMENDMENT from director Phillip Noyce and red hot scribes Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. At the time, we weren’t aware of who Cruise would be playing but today Moviehole is reporting that Mr. Couch Assaulter is in talks to play none other than the President of the United States. And his nemesis? Denzel Washington. In the film, Cruise discovers that the US is really being run by a secret organization run by Washington. Needless to say, crazy shit goes down. As soon as we learn more, we’ll let you know.
