Audiences can’t get enough of Jeffrey Dahmer. Ryan Murphy’s Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story has taken the top spot on Netflix’s weekly streaming ratings once again, racking up 205.33 million hours of viewing time worldwide. This brings the show’s all-time total to 701.37 million hours since its debut last month, making Dahmer the second most-watched English-language series on Netflix.

The second season of Bridgerton previously held the number two ranking with 656.26 million hours over its first 28 days. With over 700 million hours, Dahmer now takes the place of Bridgerton and sits behind the fourth season of Stranger Things, which has 1.35 billion hours viewed. When you factor in Non-English Netflix shows, Dahmer ranks fourth behind Squid Game (1.65 billion) and the final season of Money Heist (792 million), but Dahmer still has 9 days left of its 28 day window, so it could easily go higher during the coming week.

The Netflix series stars Evan Peters as notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer as it examines his gruesome and horrific crimes and the systemic failures that enabled him to continue his murderous spree in plain sight for over a decade. You can check out a review of Dahmer from our own Alex Maidy right here. The series isn’t the only one on the streaming service focusing on the serial killer, as Joe Berlinger’s documentary Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes debuted on Netflix last week. Our own Chris Bumbray reviewed the documentary series upon its release. “As exploitative as some may deem them, it can’t be denied that there’s a reason the exploits of maniacs like Dahmer have captivated the public for so long,” Bumbray wrote. “Like other seasons of the series, this offers uncomfortable insight into the mind of a man who truly had no empathy whatsoever. The result, quite frankly, is that by the time the credits roll on the final episode, you’ll be glad he’s dead.” Check out the rest of Bumbray’s review right here.
