DEADPOOL 2 opened to $125 million last weekend, and though that’s a tad lower than the first movie it is an impressive sum by any means. Fans showed out in force for the R-rated sequel, proving their undying loyalty to the Merc with a Mouth (Ryan Reynolds) and his crude shenanigans. As a way of showing some appreciation a new video for the movie reimagines the movie in the style of THE GOLDEN GIRLS, fit with the theme song that thanks us all for being a friend. Even Betty White approves!
Even with SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY set for this weekend DEADPOOL 2 is still tracking for a solid second weekend, especially with it being Memorial Day weekend. If you were a real friend, you would go see the movie again and again until your ass was permanently damaged by uncomfortable theater chairs. That’s just what friends do.
