Dennis Quaid makes himself at home in a new trailer for The Intruder

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Everyone knows that landlords can be a real pain in the ass, but what if they turned out to be a possessive and homicidal maniac as well? Today, Screen Gems has shared a new trailer and poster for THE INTRUDER, a home invasion thriller starring Michael Ealy (ALMOST HUMAN, THE FOLLOWING), Meagan Good (THE UNBORN, BRICK), Joe Sikora (GHOST WORLD, JACK REACHER) and Dennis Quaid (FREQUENCY, FAR FROM HEAVEN). MEET THE BLACKS and TRAFFIK director Deon Taylor will helm the film, which he'll shoot from a script penned by David Loughrey (PASSENGER 57, LAKEVIEW TERRACE).

In the upcoming psychological thriller, Quaid plays Charlie Peck, a seemingly good-natured man who sells his beloved home in the Napa Valley to a young married couple. Before long, the couple (Ealy and Good) discover that they've purchased their new home from a psychopath who isn't willing to let the property go.

In addition to dropping the trailer, which highlights Peck's transformation from friendly landowner to overly-possessive property manager, Screen Gems unveiled a new poster for the upcoming thriller. You can check out the one-sheet for yourself below, and be on the lookout for when Peck reveals his true colors to a kindly couple in theaters on April 26, 2019.
