Dracula needs a summer vacation in Hotel Transylvania 3 teaser

Although the Dark Universe franchise may be on life support, the HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA series is still trucking along with its comedic versions of Dracula (Adam Sandler), Frankenstein's monster (Kevin James) the Wolfman (Steve Buscemi), the Mummy (Keegan-Michael Key), the Invisible Man (David Spade) and more. A third installment of the Genndy Tartakovsky directed series is on the way finding Dracula in dire need of a vacation, which, much to his displeasure, places him on a cruise ship with all of his buddies tagging along.

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION, or HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: A MONSTER VACATION as the above teaser trailer states, will find Mavis (Selena Gomez) surprising her father with a family voyage on a luxury Monster Cruise Ship so he can take a vacation from providing everyone else's vacation at the hotel. Once they leave port, romance arises when Dracula meets the mysterious ship captain, Ericka. Now it's Mavis's turn to play the overprotective parent, keeping her dad and Ericka apart. Little do they know that his "too good to be true" love interest is actually a descendant of Abraham Van Helsing, ancient nemesis to Dracula and all other monsters. Ruh oh.

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION will hit theaters on July 13, 2018.
