Anyhow, as ESCAPE ROOM's release date approaches, today we have the movie's trailer and poster for you to check out. Truthfully, all of this looks a bit too much like a bastard SAW sequel, but the inclusion of Netflix's LOST IN SPACE star Taylor Russell has me intrigued. Plus Bragi Schut and Maria Melnik's screenplay has been described as being in the vein of David Fincher's THE GAME. I'm down.
The story follows
six strangers who find themselves in circumstances beyond their control and must use their wits to survive.
The cast includes Logan Miller, Deborah Ann Woll, Taylor Russell, Tyler Labine, Jay Ellis, and Nik Dodani. Neal H. Moritz (I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, URBAN LEGEND) and Ori Marmur (JACK THE GIANT SLAYER, BATTLE LOS ANGELES) produce the film. ESCAPE ROOM hits a theater near you January 4th, 2019.
