The bodily fluids are flowing in the EXCLUSIVE clip we have from writer/director Joe Begos' new film BLISS. The clip, embedded below, begins with lead character Dezzy (played by Dora Madison) spewing blood into a toilet, and things only get weirder and more twisted from there. BLISS has been described as an homage to "grungy New York horror like William Lustig's MANIAC and Abel Ferrara's THE DRILLER KILLER", and judging from this clip it will fit right in with those movies.

Dark Sky Films will be giving BLISS a theatrical and VOD release tomorrow, September 27th, so a triple feature of BLISS, MANIAC, and THE DRILLER KILLER might be a fun way to welcome the weekend.

BLISS has the following synopsis:

Known for her dark and macabre artwork, painter Dezzy Donahue is in a professional rut. Unable to finish her newest commissioned work, Dezzy looks to reignite her creative juices by letting loose — as in, taking every drug in sight and tearing through raucous house parties and heavy metal bars. After a few nights spent with her debauchery-loving friends Courtney and Ronnie, though, Dezzy notices changes within herself. On the positive side, she’s finally painting again, but she’s also developing a strange desire for blood. As someone who has never been able to control her vices in the first place, Dezzy is quickly and violently consumed by this bloodlust.

Madison is joined in the cast by Tru Collins, Rhys Wakefield, Jeremy Gardner, Graham Skipper, and George Wendt.

Begos produced the film with Skipper, Josh Ethier, Caroline Metz, Lyle Kanouse, and Audrey Wasilewski. Terry Shaikh served as executive producer, with Brian Dutton and Matt Mercer co-producing.

Check out the clip below and get yourself prepared for the release of BLISS tomorrow.
