Phase 2 of Marvel's Cinematic Universe wraps up next year with AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON (May 1) and ANT-MAN (July 17), and then it's on to Phase 3, which will consist of nine movies: three sequels (CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2, THOR: RAGNAROK), two more Avengers films (AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR – PART I & PART II) and four projects featuring new characters (DOCTOR STRANGE, BLACK PANTHER, CAPTAIN MARVEL, INHUMANS). Clearly it's Marvel's world now, and we're all just living in it.

With all of these Marvel flicks in the works, it's easy to miss a rumor or detail about an upcoming film, so JoBlo.com has created this handy guide to the studio's next phase of movies. You don't want to be that guy who doesn't know the latest news on AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR or BLACK PANTHER, right? I didn't think so.

Phase 3 of the MCU kicks off with CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR on May 6, 2016.
