Exclusive Interview: Poltergeist Stars Sam Rockwell and Rosemarie DeWitt!

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Two of my favorite actors today happen to be Sam Rockwell and Rosemarie DeWitt. And frankly, they give everything they do some serious credibility. So when you place them in the roles of the terrorized parents in POLTERGEIST, it already makes you care about the characters more. While the original film will always be one of my all-time favorites, I was surprised at how much fun I had with this new film and much of it is because of these two.

I've had the pleasure of talking to both Rockwell and DeWitt before, and what struck me is how excited they were to talk about the film. They talked about why they took on a POLTERGEIST remake and the appeal of taking on this funhouse of a world. Luckily, the young actors in the film are also quite good and both of these fine talents discussed working with this ensemble. POLTERGEIST will be haunting theatres with Thursday screenings and opening wide on Friday.
