Fairuza Balk and Angela Trimbur have both made some notable appearances in the horror genre over the years. For example, Balk earned a lot of fans with her performance in THE CRAFT, while Trimbur had memorable moments in THE FINAL GIRLS and HALLOWEEN II. Now these actresses are set to violently collide in the upcoming IFC Midnight release TRESPASSERS.

Directed by Orson Oblowitz from a screenplay by Corey Deshon, TRESPASSERS also stars Janel Parrish, Zach Avery, Jonathan Howard, Carlo Rota, Sebastian Sozzi, and Joey Abril.

The plot:

Two dysfunctional couples rent a modern luxury desert home for the weekend hoping to sort out their messed-up lives. Just as they are about to settle in for a fun night, a neighbour turns up at their front door saying she has car trouble. And that's when the murderous trouble really starts. Because without knowing it, the four friends have landed slap-bang in the wrong violent place at precisely the wrong bloody time. Hopefully your nerves of steel will hold for one of the most stylish, atmospheric and terror-filled home invasion horrors of them all.

TRESPASSERS will be receiving a theatrical release in New York and Los Angeles on July 12th, and will also be available to watch through VOD starting that day.

Check out the trailer for the film below and see if TRESPASSERS looks like something you'd like to add to your July watch list. It looks good to me.
