THE JUNGLE BOOK aside, next up on Disney's slate of live-action remakes of classic animated films is BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Directed by Bill Condon, BEAUTY has a ridiculously stellar ensemble consisting of Emma Watson, Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Emma Thompson, Kevin Kline, Dan Stevens, Ian McKellen and Stanley Tucci. The cast has been pretty vocal about the progress of this film, and it looks like filming has just wrapped. Below we have a picture from Josh Gad's Instagram, showing off his costar and a few words.

Is it me, or does Luke Evans feel at home in snow-covered locales? I know there's a lot of eye-rolling when it comes the tenacity of which Disney is producing these live-action iterations, but Kenneth Branagh's CINDERELLA is one of my favorites of the year so far, so I'm curious to see what Condon and Co. can bring to the table with one of Disney's most popular stories.
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is scheduled to hit theaters on March 17, 2017.
