The new reboot, or whatever they are calling it, of the video game TOMB RAIDER is heading towards us almost exactly a year from now. While we all know and try to forget the original set of films starred Angelina Jolie, the new flicks will star EX MACHINA's Alicia Vikander as the raider of tombs.

Tomb Raider is directed by Roar Uthaug and written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet. It is based on the 2013 video game of same name by Crystal Dynamics. The film stars Alicia Vikander, Walton Goggins, Daniel Wu, and Dominic West.
Warner Bros. will release the film on March 16, 2018.
