It’s not often I’ll bash an independent
production, especially a horror one. You can usually always find some sort of
entertainment value in films, regardless of budget or talent. Hell sometimes
they’re good for just killing time in between cases of beer and bong hits.
Keeping this in mind, I’m sorry but I have to say
that the trailer for COUNTERPART, which can be seen below, may be some of
the most ridiculous filmmaking I’ve ever seen; which also may lead to it being
the funniest thing you’ve ever seen.
Being put together by
Lucas Scheffel almost entirely,
COUNTERPART starts off as a gangster style film, and than randomly switches
to a zombie like epic. I’m not entirely sure how Scheffel has planned to do this
switch, but I’m guessing based on the footage below, the transition may be
slightly rocky.
So check out the clip below, which is being sold
as a teaser trailer but actually looks like a low budget tribute to
SHAUN OF THE DEAD. For more on
