Kevin Smith has been a controversial figure recently, after his last few movies failed to impress most. But the bigger issue was that afterward he started assaulting critics and fans for their negative opinions. However, he seems to have chilled out recently, perhaps because he knows he’s got something good on deck.
I’ve heard a lot of praise for RED STATE, his Christian fundamentalist horror film that take the Westboro Baptist idiots and cranks the dial to eleven with a cult that actually murders “sinners” in the name of God.
Below we have a new full trailer for the film, which has far more footage than the teaser, and shows the mayhem and a bit of black humor in action. I think it looks pretty excellent myself, and you can judge for yourself after watching.
