We don't have to wait very long into 2017 to see one of the most intriguing genre releases of the year. Director Gore Verbinski's A CURE FOR WELLNESS is just over a month away, set to reach theatres on February 17th. Starring Dane DeHaan, Jason Isaacs, and Mia Goth, the film tells the story of a man who

is sent to rescue his boss from a European “wellness spa.” He soon realizes he's trapped, and discovers that the facility has a more sinister purpose than just serving the health needs of its patients.

The trailers for A CURE FOR WELLNESS have me sold, showing off a nightmarish visual style crafted by Verbinski over a five month production schedule. I don't need any other sort of marketing beyond that myself, but the film also has a strong viral marketing campaign behind it – our earliest looks into its world came through a couple viral promos and the official site, which features strange guided meditation sessions.

The marketing team has now released a fresh batch of viral promos that are focused on offering a new start in the new year:

There has been a breakthrough!

Every January, we make promises – to ourselves and others. By February, they are broken, a distant memory. 2017 will be different! Because soon, all of us will be able to take the Cure. And this Cure is forever.

These new promos, with their "motivating video and audio messages" can be seen below. Be prepared to get creeped out by the promise of A CURE FOR WELLNESS.
