It’s good to see Alexandre Aja get back to, if not personal stories, somewhat original ones after all the remakes he’s done in a row. Earlier this week we heard Max Minghella had joined Daniel Radcliffe in HORNS, Aja’s adaptation of Joe Hill’s supernatural novel. Now, as Variety reports, another trio of actors have just been stabbed by the HORNS…
Juno Temple (right), Joe Anderson and Kelli Garner (below) are all closing deals to star in the flick, though details on their parts, beyond Temple playing Radcliffe’s girlfriend, weren’t specified.
HORNS is a supernatural thriller driven by fantasy, mystery and romance, follows Ig Perrish (Radcliffe), the number one suspect for the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend. Hungover from a night of hard drinking, Ig awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his own head and soon realizes their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their most selfish and unspeakable impulses – an effective tool in his quest to discover the true circumstances of his late girlfriend’s tragedy and for exacting revenge on her killer.
Production is slated to get underway this fall.
