Anthony Hopkins looks quite a bit like Hitchcock in first look photo

I mean, if he could pull of NIXON, he can pull off Hitchcock, right?

According to the first look from People Magazine, the answer is a resounding yes! In a comparative profile look, Hopkins and his makeup team have added sufficient weight and wrinkles, subtracted sufficient hair, and molded his facial expression to look almost identical to the master of suspense, Alfred Hitchcock. Impressive, if we do say so ourselves!

Of course, the look is for the new movie from Sascha Grevasi called HITCHCOCK, which recently added Ralph Macchio to the cast. The flick is apparently through the makeup stage and will begin filming shortly.

Also featuring Scarlett Johansson (below), Helen Mirren, Jessica Biel, James D’Arcy, Danny Huston, Wallace Langham, Michael Wincott, Kurtwood Smith and Toni Collette:

HITCHCOCK is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville. The film takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie PSYCHO.

What do you say, Hopkins perfectly cast or what?
