Exclusive clip from Thelma brings trouble to the ballet

Joachim Trier Thelma Eili Harboe

We have previously featured exclusive interviews with Eili Harboe and Kaya Wilkins, the stars of director Joachim Trier's romantic supernatural thriller THELMA, and today we have another THELMA EXCLUSIVE to share with you – a clip from the film that gives a look at the troublesome issues the title character is dealing with.

THELMA tells the story of

a college student who starts to experience extreme seizures while studying at a university in Oslo, Norway. She soon learns that the violent episodes are a symptom of inexplicable, and often dangerous, supernatural abilities.

In the clip embedded below, Thelma experiences one of those seizures while at the ballet, and it's not just her body that's affected by it. Whatever is happening to her has an effect on other things in the room as well…

The Norwegian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the next Academy Awards, THELMA is currently screening at theatres in New York.
