First “American Horror Story: Asylum” teaser takes out some yucky trash

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Obviously, Ryan Murphy and co. are keeping a pretty tight lid on the details regarding the second season of “American Horror Story,” subtitled “Asylum.” We know it takes place during the 60s within a mental institution, that a large portion of the original cast is returning in brand new roles, that there’s a creep named “Bloody Face” roaming the landscape, and beyond that… not much.

The first teaser trailer for Season 2 has arrived via the show’s official Facebook page, and it keeps the mystery intact. It’s labeled “Special Delivery” and shows us what looks initially like a nun (?) emptying a bucketful of something (human remains?) in the woods. Who -or what – is this delivery for?

Jessica Lange, James Cromwell, Adam Levine, Jenna Dewan, Blake sheldon, Chris Zylka, Joseph Fiennes, Chloe Sevigny, Clea Duvall, Mark Consuelos, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe and Zachary Quinto all appear in “American Horror Story: Asylum,” which premiere on FX sometime in October.
