How about some seductive bloodsucking babes to start off your day? That's exactly what we have for ya with a new trailer and batch of images from Victor Matellano's VAMPYRES, a remake of José Ramón Larraz's 1974 cult classic that stars Marta Flich (OMNIVORES) and Almudena Leon (WAX), as well as Christian Stamm, Veronica Bacorn and Caroline Munro (MANIAC).
Matellano penned the film based on Larraz’s original 1974 movie, and judging by the images and trailer below he has kept what made the original film such a hit with vampire fans while injecting some fresh blood into the story. Larraz, who died last September, took part in the pre-production of the new movie and is shown speaking about the film in the introduction to the trailer below.
A lesbian vampire couple waylay and abduct various passer-byes, both male and female, to hold them captive at their rural manor in the English countryside in order to kill and feed on them to satisfy their insatiable thirst for blood.
The rest of the cast includes Anthony Rotsa, Victor Vidal, Luis Hacha, Alina Nastise and Remedios Darkin.
