Olivia Munn to take up arms against The Predator

Shane Black's THE PREDATOR is heating up. After hitting a snag, recasting star Benicio del Toro with Boyd Holbrook, casting has continued, enlisting Olivia Munn into its Special Forces team. The actress, fresh from her role as Psylocke in this year's X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, will be portraying a scientist opposite Holbrook's commando.

Although not much else is known about the film this far, we have learned that the Predator will be infiltrating suburbia, with presumably destructive results. The film is looking to begin shooting this February, so expect more of these announcements soon!

Written by Black and Fred Dekker, THE PREDATOR is an "inventive sequel" to the PREDATOR franchise. The film is scheduled to reach theatres on February 9, 2018.
