Seth Rogen planning on co-directing Jay & Seth Vs. The Apocalypse next year

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

You guys remember that little flick that wanted to be JAY AND SETH VS. THE APOCALYPSE? JAY AND SETH of course referring to Jay Baruchel and Seth Rogen. Now the duo have been wanting to make this flick for a couple years now but considering both actors’ in-demand status in the comedy genre they’ve found it hard to find time to tackle this one. Well folks, it seems they’ve found that time!

According to Movies.com Rogen and company have found time for the comedic thriller early next year and will actually start production in February. Rogen also confirmed that he’ll be stepping behind the camera with partner Evan Goldberg. Along with stating how JAY AND SETH VS. THE APOCALYPSE is an ‘oddly personal’ film for him, Rogen also mentioned that the film has kind of evolved from a two man adventure to a group thing: “It’s now much more than just Jay and Seth — there’s many other people vs. the apocalypse now. It’s gonna be crazy.”

I don’t know about you guys but I’m not sure how I feel about this group thing.. I mean seeing a stoner duo like Rogen and Baruchel contend with the dawning apocalypse is one thing… having a mixed cast of characters contending with that b*tch is something completely different. Then again it’s not like we don’t know what to expect from these two and their usual coherts.

So what do you guys think? Good news that JAY AND SETH VS. THE APOCALYPSE is moving forward or was this one of those flicks you thought would never happen? Spit some bullets below and be sure to keep it here for any other updates on the long-awaited feature that may spill our way.
