There’s something in the corner of this haunting poster for The Diabolical

THE DIABOLICAL will mark Alistair Legrand’s directorial debut, who co-wrote the script with Luke Harvis, and today we’ve got a look at the film’s creepy new poster. I don’t know what it is about this poster, but it’s freaky as shit—maybe it’s the fact that all we see is a shadow of what appears to be a little boy in a corner with a dark figure watching over it, but damn, I’m digging it! Content announced today that the next film from their prolific partnership with hit genre producer Ross M. Dinerstein’s Preferred Film & TV, post this summer’s productions of DARK SUMMER and THE PACT 2, will be Alistair Legrand’s THE DIABOLICAL. Here’s what it’s about:

The Diabolical follows Madison and her children in their quiet suburban home as they are awoken nightly by an increasingly strange and intense presence. Madison desperately seeks help from her scientist boyfriend Nikolai, who begins a hunt to destroy the violent spirit that paranormal experts are too frightened to undertake.

Content will launch worldwide sales at the American Film Market beginning next week. Kevin Iwashina of Preferred Content will jointly sell North America with Content’s Jamie Carmichael. THE DIABOLICAL is set to begin production early next year and cast will be announced shortly.
