Trick ‘r Treat collector’s edition blu-ray special features announced

Last month we let you guys know that Scream Factory will be delighting all of us horror anthology fans this October as they plan to bring writer-director Michael Dougherty's (KRAMPUS, GODZILLA: KING ON THE MONSTERS) Halloween horror anthology TRICK 'R TREAT (pre-order HERE) to Blu-ray! 

Back in that article, we let you know that extras from the previous DVD and Blu-ray release will be ported over and more new interviews are underway with director Michael Dougherty very much involved. More specifically we told you that all-new extras and specs were still in progress and would be announced "later in September."

And guess what? It's "later in September" and as promised, today we have the full list of special features for you to check out!

This will be branded as a "Collector’s Edition" that will come with a slipcover guaranteed for three months after its original release date. The newly-commissioned artwork (which you can check out in its entirety below) is Director approved and comes to us from Devon Whitehead. This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will be a theatrical art alternative that Mr. Dougherty asked if Scream Factory could include. 

For those of you who may have forgotten, TRICK 'R TREAT follows:

Interwoven stories demonstrate that some traditions are best not forgotten as the residents (Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Dylan Baker) of a small town face real ghosts and goblins on Halloween. Tales of terror reveal the consequences of extinguishing a Jack-o-Lantern before midnight and a grumpy hermit's encounter with a sinister trick-or-treater.
