Must See: 11 Unused Child's Play 3 posters

Okay, let's just get this out of the way right here and now. I have a sweet spot for CHILD'S PLAY 3.

It was the first horror movie I made myself watch. Chucky terrified me as a child and when I got to be in middle school I made myself stay up late one night and watch CHILD'S PLAY 3 without looking away. It was my badge of courage. Sure it was on, like, TBS, but still, it was a rite of passage.

The film still holds a spot in my horror heart and it is with that in mind I say that I dig it more than CHILD'S PLAY 2 and SEED OF CHUCKY. But that's about as far as even I'm willing to go. The flick's poster was a source of nightmare fuel for me as a kid and when it was up in the window of my local video store, I didn't even like walking past it.

Nowadays I see the poster and either marvel at its simplicity - or its laziness.

This brings about today's post where some Chucky fan bought these rare unused posters off "some auction" and shared them with the world today via B-D. You can check them out below and then make sure to let us know which one is your favorite on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

CHILD'S PLAY 3 synopsis

It's been years since Chucky, the doll with the soul and the voice (Brad Dourif) of a psychopathic killer, was apparently destroyed in a fire at a doll factory. Now Chucky's manufacturer is remaking the same line of toys with the old, still haunted materials. This resurrects Chucky, who goes after Andy (Justin Whalin), his former owner, who now attends military school. Chucky slashes his way through a string of grotesque murders as Andy tries to stop the homicidal doll and the spirit within it.

CHILD'S PLAY 3 was directed by Jack Bender from a script by Don Mancini. The film starred Justin Whalin, Perrey Reeves, Jeremy Sylvers, Travis Fine, Dean Jacobson, and Brad Dourif as Chucky.

CHILD'S PLAY 3 was released on August 30th, 1991.
