Victor Garcia’s The Damned (formerly Gallows Hill) sets release date

Not only has Victor Garcia's latest shocker THE DAMNED—previously known as GALLOWS HILL—gone through a title change, but IFC Films has now given the supernatural chiller a release date. IFC has set the premiere date for THE DAMNED in the U.S. on VOD outlets this July 25th with a select theatrical run starting on August 29th. Richard D’Ovidio, the man behind THE CALL and THIR13EN GHOSTS, wrote the script which follows…

… a widower who takes his children on a trip to their mother’s Colombian hometown. En route, the family are involved in an accident and take refuge in a secluded inn, where they free a girl locked in a basement and set in motion a terrifying sequence of events.
