Interview: Robin Hood star Russell Crowe!

JoBloJoBlo

I’ve been a fan of Russell Crowe since I first saw him in a couple of little films. The first was PROOF, the second, ROMPER STOMPER. The dude was intense all the way back then. In fact, when I found that I was going to interview him for ROBIN HOOD I got a little nervous. But since I spent one interview with Ridley Scott and Russell chatted it up [Ed. note: look for that interview tomorrow], I began to lose the anxiety. After all, he is just a guy right? Well, you know what? Yeah, he was, and I mean that in a good way.

This Academy Award winning actor has done some wonderful films including GLADIATOR, A BEAUTIFUL MIND and LA CONFIDENTIAL (should I maybe add VIRTUOSITY, or am I the only one that dug that?). But I didn’t expect Russell to be so straight forward and downright amiable. The guy was really quite nice! I have to say that the Robin Hood junket was an absolute pleasure to attend. And of course, if you are looking to see Mr. Crowe goin’ all bow and arrow on some baddies, you can check out Robin Hood this Friday at a theatre near you.
