It seems Marvel finally decided to stop dicking around and give Sam Jackson a proper offer to reprise his role as S.H.I.E.L.D. head Nick Fury in the upcoming IRON MAN sequel. In fact, they must have given Jackson one hell of an offer because he signed up to appear as Fury in as much as nine future Marvel films including THOR, CAPTAIN AMERICA, THE AVENGERS, something called THE SHIELD (a stand-alone Fury film perhaps?) and potential sequels. Suffice to say, we’ll be seeing a hell of a lot more of Jackson as Fury. Which is pretty great since it’ll just add fantastic synergy among all these films, making them all chapters in one big universe. Just like the comics! But that’s only one wrong that they’ve righted with their upcoming slate. What they need to do now is stop dicking around with Mickey Rourke and give him a proper offer. Right?
